There have been so many miracle lately that I am so thankful for. It seems as though our cups are running over with blessings! I feel so grateful that Rusty is seeing business stepping up, Kjirsten is working full time along with teaching more Cello students, Brigitte finds great joy in motherhood, Woodrow found an internship, and Natalie is still in the running for one. Preston has good friends and is on his way to a career already, and Mikyla is blessed with good friends and great understanding. These are all prayers that have been fervently spoken, and are truly miracles. But miracles aren't just happening for our family, they are happening all over the world and in our extended family. I am thanking our Heavenly Father daily, and recognizing the goodness of the gospel, and of temple blessings.
My prayers have been ones of gratitude. It almost seems silly to ask for more....I am grateful for God, Christ, the Gospel, and families of which some are gone, and some present.
It's not that usual when everything is beautiful, It's just another ordinary miracle today
The sky knows when its time to snow, You don't need to teach a seed to grow
It's just another ordinary miracle today
Life is like a gift they say, Wrapped up for you everyday,
Open up and find a way, To give some of your own
Isn't it remarkable?
Like every time a raindrop falls, It's just another ordinary miracle today.
Birds in winter have their fling, And always make it home by spring.
It's just another ordinary miracle today.
When you wake up everyday, Please don't throw your dreams away,
Hold them close to your heart Cause we are all a part
Of the ordinary miracle,
Ordinary miracle,
Do you want to see a miracle?
It seems so exceptional
That things just work out after all It's just another ordinary miracle today
The sun comes up and shines so bright,
It disappears again at night
It's just another ordinary miracle today
Ooohh Oooohh
It's just another ordinary miracle today

Last year, my mother and I had a wonderful talk about life in general, and she spoke of something that she had learned as a child: Responsibility and self-actualization. Mom said she never had a problem with making her own path through life regardless of others opinions because she
It wasn't until two weeks ago while writing a term paper about Hospice Care (which will be my nursing speciality), that a full understanding came as to how important it is to be self actualized. I wrote of my father's death and how amazing it was to watch him reconcile with leaving so many dear people, beloved places, and belongings one by one. He went graciously and with dignity. He seemed to realize that he was keeping that which was most important; the gospel and his family. He had self-actualized! He had completed all of
One night, during a father-daughter moment, Dad said that he had told me many times of his love and acceptance, but until that knowledge internalized, he did not know of any other way to further express his feelings. What he was asking me to do was to self-actualize.
